This agreement applies to every therapist who offers treatments on SHAI. You accept it when you apply, and it applies to every booking you take.

You're an independent professional, not a SHAI employee or agent. You choose your hours, treatments, prices and the areas you travel to, and you're responsible for your own tax and professional obligations.
You set your own price for each treatment and length. SHAI keeps 20% of the price when a customer books you for the first time, and 10% when the same customer books you again. The rest is yours.
Your share is paid out within 24 hours of you completing the treatment. A disputed booking is held until it's resolved.
Arrive on time, treat every customer with professional respect, and report any incident to SHAI.
You may refuse or end a booking if you reasonably believe the environment is unsafe, the customer is threatening, abusive or intoxicated, or the treatment asked for is inappropriate, unlawful or outside your professional scope. Tell SHAI why as soon as reasonably possible. If this happens after payment, the customer is refunded.
Keep your profile, treatment list, qualifications and other information you give SHAI accurate and up to date. Only offer treatments you're suitably qualified and competent to perform. SHAI may ask for reasonable proof of qualifications or other information, and may pause a treatment or your profile while it's verified. Prenatal massage is only switched on once SHAI has approved a matching qualification.
You receive a customer's address only after they've paid, and you may use it and any other customer information only for that treatment. This is required by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
SHAI finds and looks after your customers, so bookings with anyone you meet through SHAI stay on SHAI. Don't use customer information obtained through SHAI to move a booking off the platform, share contact details or arrange private payment to avoid SHAI's booking process or fee.
It protects you too: only bookings made through SHAI are verified, supported and paid on time. If this is broken, SHAI starts with a friendly reminder. Repeated or deliberate cases can lead to suspension or removal, and SHAI may take legal steps to recover the losses or damages it causes.
Cancel only when you have to. Customers see your reason. Repeated late cancellations, declines, or keeping customers waiting can lower your position in listings and lead to your profile being paused.
If a customer cancels a paid booking within 6 hours of the treatment, 5% of the price is kept. You receive half of it (2.5% of the price) for keeping that time, paid out like any other treatment.
You can stop offering treatments at any time once your confirmed bookings are completed. SHAI may suspend or remove a profile that breaks this agreement or puts customers at risk.
